Position Overview
This is a high-impact, highly hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable operating across multiple functions. The position encompasses a broad blend of Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Social Media, Project Management, and Operations duties.
The successful candidate will serve as a key point of coordination between the executive team, investors, shareholders, advisors, consultants, and external stakeholders, ensuring that the company’s messaging is consistent, timely, professional, and aligned with its corporate strategy.
This person will effectively be responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s external voice and public presence across all channels.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a marketing, communications and content leader who can help define how a successful junior mining company tells its story.
This individual will translate the company's strategy, vision and growth ambitions into clear, compelling and consistent narratives that resonate with investors, employees, partners, communities and the broader market.
Working closely with the executive team, they will lead the development of messaging, content and communications across investor materials, corporate presentations, digital channels, thought leadership, campaigns and key corporate initiatives. They will ensure the company's story is differentiated, authentic and consistently expressed across every audience and touchpoint.
The successful candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. They are equally comfortable helping shape positioning and narrative at the leadership level as they are writing content, managing priorities and collaborating with internal and external partners to bring ideas to life.
They possess exceptional writing and storytelling skills, strong editorial judgement and a natural ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging, accessible content. They understand how to adapt a core message for different audiences while maintaining consistency and impact.
Most importantly, they are excited by the opportunity to help redefine how a junior mining company communicates. Rather than relying on traditional industry messaging, they will help build a modern, credible and distinctive brand that stands apart within the venture mining sector.
What This Role Isn't
- A traditional corporate communications role.
- A press release production position.
- A highly bureaucratic environment with multiple approval layers.
- A role where the strategy is already written and you're simply executing against it.
- A company looking to communicate like every other junior mining issuer.
We're looking for someone who wants to challenge the status quo, shape the narrative, build a distinctive brand and help redefine how a successful junior mining company engages with its audiences.
The Ideal Candidate
- Brings experience leading marketing, communications, content or brand initiatives within a growth-focused, entrepreneurial or public company environment.
- Is an exceptional writer, editor and storyteller with the ability to transform complex information into compelling content.
- Has experience developing executive communications, corporate narratives, investor-facing materials and strategic presentations.
- Understands brand positioning, audience engagement and how to create content that builds trust, credibility and market awareness.
- Can work closely with senior leaders, challenge thinking where appropriate, and translate business strategy into impactful communications.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly and a hands-on approach is required.
- Brings strong project management and stakeholder management skills, balancing multiple initiatives while maintaining quality and consistency.
Mining experience is considered an asset, but not a requirement. More important is the ability to bring fresh thinking, modern communications practices and a willingness to challenge conventional approaches. The company is intentionally looking to break the mould of how venture-stage mining companies communicate and engage with the market.
