Who We Are
Punt is hyper-scaling into new verticals, launching innovative products, and building our flagship superapp - and you’ll be right at the center of the action. We’re looking for a proactive builder who loves working in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and making sense out of ambiguity. If you enjoy starting new projects, thrive on ownership, and get excited about helping teams operate better and creating exceptional candidate and employee experiences, this role is for you.
Role Overview
We are hyper-scaling our platform operations, expanding into new strategic verticals, and building out high-impact business units. To support this rapid growth, we are looking for an intermediate level Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-cycle recruitment across our Marketing, Commercial, Customer Experience (CX), Fraud & Risk, Growth, and Analytics organizations.
In this role, you will act as a strategic talent partner to department heads and hiring managers, designing candidate pipelines, executing multi-channel outbound sourcing, and driving structured selection processes. You will recruit across a diverse portfolio of roles - ranging from specialized Marketing, Commercial Analysts and Growth Managers to Fraud Operations Leads and high-volume Customer Experience teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Candidate Management & Process Execution
- Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle from initial intake strategy sessions through offer negotiation and pre-onboarding alignment.
- Conduct thorough initial interviews to evaluate candidate competencies, domain fluency, compensation expectations, and cultural alignment.
- Deliver a transparent, highly responsive candidate experience that keeps talent engaged throughout the recruitment process.
Outbound Sourcing & Stakeholder Alignment
- Build direct candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct networking, developer and functional communities, and competitive market mapping.
- Collaborate with functional leaders (including the VP of Insights, VP of Payments & Fraud, and Head of Growth) to refine job specifications, set compensation benchmarks, and calibrate scorecards.
- Maintain clean ATS data and pipeline tracking to report key metrics such as time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and offer acceptance rates.
Talent Operations and Metrics
- Own recruiting operations for your client group, including ATS hygiene; maintain clean data, structured candidate notes, and automated pipeline tracking.
- Track and report on recruiting funnel analytics (e.g., pipeline pass-through rates, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, channel efficiency) to optimize search strategies.
- Contribute to employer branding, candidate experience touchpoints, and talent playbooks
- Plan and organize recruiting events and meetups to expand network reach and brand visibility.
- Participate in developing talent nurturing initiatives, including co-op programs, internal recruitment paths, and employee referral processes.

- Location & Authorization: Based in Vancouver, BC for a hybrid office arrangement, with legal entitlement to work in Canada.
