Original job description

WHO WE ARE

Invitation Project is creating an app that helps Christians invite their close friends to discover & follow Jesus. Many Christians long to see someone in their life - a cousin, roommate, coworker - discover Jesus, but don't know how to start, or what to say.

We equip believers to invest intentionally in friendships with up to five people they already know, helping them discover Jesus. Everything we create is grounded in Scripture, shaped by grace, and built to honour the pace of every journey.

THE POSITION

We're looking for a versatile, creative Brand & Communications Designer to take on contract work for our campaigns and digital products. You'll produce high-quality creative assets for social, email, and paid channels. Each asset should fit our brand mission and be built for performance.

You'll work alongside the Creative Director and the Communications Team on scoped projects, including branded internal and external documents, social media assets, and campaign assets. It's a good fit for an independent designer who does well with quick turnarounds and a steady flow of deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign & Social Media Creative

Deliver static and motion assets for social, email, and paid ads.
Apply brand identity consistently across campaign materials.
Revise creative based on A/B test results and performance data.
Develop concepts and deliver on project briefs in collaboration with the Creative Director and Communications Team.
Produce short-form video assets (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, etc.) as projects require.

Other Assets & Deliverables

Join project check-ins as needed and hand off design files and documentation with each deliverable.
Design supporting materials (letterheads, presentations, employee booklets, etc.).
Provide motion graphics, titles, thumbnails, and similar assets for the Production Team.
Provide asset builds and source illustrations for the Product Team's app work.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Must be a dedicated Christian and willing to sign a statement of faith.
Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio.
Ability to contribute to and deliver on creative briefs.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.), using your own tools and equipment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
