Role Description The Cleaner is a full-time, on-site role based in North Vancouver, BC. In this role, the Cleaner will perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in residential, commercial, and strata-managed buildings. Responsibilities may include cleaning washrooms, kitchens, offices, common areas, and high-traffic spaces, as well as tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor care, and high dusting, depending on assignments. The Cleaner will follow safety and hygiene guidelines, use cleaning equipment and products correctly, and report any maintenance or safety issues. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team, adhering to schedules, and maintaining professional conduct at client sites.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitizing.
- Experience or familiarity with deep cleaning, carpet shampooing, floor care, and high dusting is an asset.
- Understanding of safe use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Reliable time management skills and ability to follow schedules and instructions.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment and supplies as required for the role.
- Professional, respectful communication skills when interacting with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in North Vancouver, BC, with flexible availability for day, evening, or weekend shifts as needed.
Wage rate: $19-$20 per hour
8 hour shift Each dat. 7 days per week.
