Mercedes-Benz Vancouver is currently looking to fill the position of
Delivery Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Compensation for this position is salary plus commission based.
- Schedule and confirm date that customer expects to receive their purchased vehicle
- Liaise with Service Manager to ensure all required operations are performed for sold vehicles
- Liaise with the Financial Services Manager to ensure that any changes, additions or deletions to the initial deal are correctly documented and in progress
- Communicate with customers to ensure that they are kept informed as to any delays or changes to their initial expectations
- Review all documentation to ensure appropriate paperwork is ready for the customer
- Inspect vehicle to ensure that all requested work has been performed correctly leading to a “Perfect Delivery”
- Schedule an appointment time for the customer to take delivery of the vehicle
- Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions
- Complete new car deliveries in line with the questions on sales survey.
- Use the manufacturers recommended tablet app for new car deliveries
Execute The Delivery Process, Including
- Provide a complete explanation of all warranty and maintenance requirements and limitations, and any other programs, options or information the Dealerships want to convey to the customer, i.e. available Collision Centre, detailing, VIP program, Rewards Membership, Service Walk, Second Delivery Appointment, etc.)
- Provide a complete explanation of the operation of the vehicle
- Sign all paperwork related to the purchase of the vehicle
- Collect all monies and payments due on delivery from the customer
- Take photograph of customer with their new vehicle; a gift for the customer
- Educate the customer regarding CSI process
- Verify customer contact information, including email address, and enter it into the customer database
- Ask for referrals
- Advise the Sales & Leasing Consultant, Financial Services Manager and Sales Manager via e-mail, that the vehicle has been delivered
