Original job description

We're looking for a great new addition to our team!

We're looking for a reliable, energetic Guest Services Associate to help run the front desk and set the vibe for the whole shop.

Position: Guest Services
Work Term: Part-Time
Location: Park & Tilford, North Vancouver
Schedule: 2 to 3 shifts per week
Wage: Starting at $18.75/hr

What We're About

We built Tommy Gun's around The Fresh Cut Feeling; that reaction when a guest looks in the mirror and knows their Barber or Stylist got it exactly right.

As the face of our shop, you're the first and last impression for every person who walks through our doors. Our main goal is simple: give guests a great experience, support the team on the floor, and help create a work environment where you actually enjoy coming to work.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle the flow of a busy shop. If you have experience as a restaurant host or hostess, or a background in retail and customer service, your skills will transfer naturally here.

Flexible availability with the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts
Checking guests in, managing the waitlist queue, and walking clients to their barber's chair
Helping team members sweep and sanitize stations between guests so chairs flip quickly
Answering phones, managing check-ins, running the register, and helping guests find the right products
Keeping retail shelves stocked, managing inventory, and making product recommendations
Communicating clearly with the Barbers and going above and beyond for every guest, every time
Staying positive, welcoming, and organized when the shop gets busy!

Benefits

Starting wage of $18.75/hr
Part-time schedule of 2 to 3 shifts per week
Flexible scheduling built to work around your real life
A clean, safe, and positive work environment with a company culture where you actually enjoy coming to work
Opportunities for growth and career advancement within the company
Generous staff discounts across our full line of retail products
A busy, fun atmosphere working with great team members and a solid local clientele
