What & Why:
Due to growth, our client is looking to add a Software Architect to their web services team. In this role, you’ll design and guide the cloud-native (AWS) services that power Search, Category and Personalization pages, helping put the right product in front of the right guest at the right time. You’ll develop solution roadmaps, present options with clear tradeoffs to project leadership, lead architecture governance, and partner closely with engineers and product teams. You’ll also serve as a senior escalation point for complex issues, support highly available 24/7 digital touchpoints, and help improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery practices along the way.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 8+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Information Technology
- Experience with Lucene (any implementation) or Elasticsearch
- Web development and database management experience (relational and NoSQL, such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch), including designing for high availability and using CI/CD tools
- Hands-on backend development experience in languages such as Java, Go and Python
Compensation:
This role pays between $100-115 per hour.
